Welcome to The Pack Way professional dog training service. This document is between the ‘Client’ and Nicole Simmie, (the ‘Trainer’) and constitutes a contract for certain services (hereafter, the ‘Agreement’). Please read it carefully and raise all questions and concerns that you have before you sign it.
The service provided by the Trainer is dog obedience training for specific skills. Goals and priorities for training will be decided jointly between the Client and the Trainer. The purpose of the Trainer is to teach the Client skills which will enable the Client to train her/his dog and enjoy a Balanced Dog.
Obedience Training Sessions
6 weeks classes * if you miss a class you may take a rain check in a future class. *No human or dog aggressive dogs permitted into classes. Should your dog become aggressive, or overly reactive/overly disruptive during group classes he or she may be asked to leave classes and the Unlimited program will become void. Dogs asked by a trainer to leave class due to a behaviour issue, will be given the option of receiving a refund for weeks not used in the program, or applying the training amount to a behaviour training package. No refunds permitted for any dogs after registration and payment is complete.
Behaviour Training packages
Lessons must be used within a 6 month time frame from the date of your first lesson. If you need to extend this timeframe due to medical reasons/moving, etc you will need to contact The Pack Way dog training and notify them before the end of the 6 month period.
24 hour cancellation is needed so your spot can be filled by someone on our waiting list. In the event 24 hours is not given, that lesson will be counted as a used lesson in a lesson package.
Students are strongly encouraged to use all lessons in their package in order to guarantee their success. Do not expect significant results from just one or two lessons. Behaviour is complex and you are still learning, using the entirety of your lesson
package will great increase your chances of seeing the success you wish to see in your dog's behaviour.
The trainer makes no promises and guarantees of your dog's success. Each dog student is different, and your success will be largely dictated by your ability to commit to the training lessons as well as your unique ability to master
training sessions and information. Some students will grasp concepts taught earlier then others, while some will take longer. This is normal.
There are no refunds permitted on behaviour training packages. Due to seasonal fluctuations in the dog training business, it is not possible for us to provide refunds. Please be sure you are commited to the training program before registration and payment. Dogs which are rehomed due to behaviour issue, will not receive a refund. In the event this happens, training dollars can be transferred to a new dog you have, in the form of puppy/beginner group classes or behaviour training packages.
It is also possible to transfer training to a family member or friend.
In extremely rare cases we will not allow a transfer of training dollars if the trainer feels the new dog is too aggressive or dangerous to the public to be trained.
Students will need to take full responsibility for their dog and be sure to appropriately manage any reactivity, aggression issues their dog exhibits. The trainer will not be held responsible for any future bites that happen by a students
failure to properly manage their dog's behaviour issue.
